Saturday Six Word Story Prompt- Past

Shweta is our host for Six Words Story Prompt. This week Saturday Six Word Story Prompt- Past.

Saturday Six Word Story Prompt- Past
Prompt for Week #79 (Jun 26, 2021 – Jul 2, 2021)

Past

“Present cannot fade away the past”.

It doesn’t matter, why, what, whom, how you have been trying to ignore your past. But, it will never detach your strings unless or until you won’t care about them. SIMPLE !!

” Past crystals, nurture along with present”.

It doesn’t matter, how long you have been absorbing your pain. But, remember it was always evolving and growing within your aura day by day, year by year.

P.S : Got inspired from one of the Netflix trending Web series. 🙂

कितना मुश्किल है कुछ कहना …

Vinay kumar pandey

RISING by Nida Fazal

Nida Fazal

I might rise slightly deferral,
Like the sun in cold .
My dawn is seldom on time,
Like turn not every bud into a flower.
I hold back grudges and scars,
Like a fly hesist entering a web.
Yet my beginnings aren’t scrubbed,
Perhaps are delayed, indeed not denied.
I go numb when encounter with fears,
Like a soul trapped in a lion cave.
My firm goals, I perform out of mind,
Like drunk straight with alcohol.
I am tirelessly struggling and striving,
Like a farmer raising field crops.

Yet my beginnings aren’t scrubbed,
Perhaps are delayed, indeed not denied.
I am a wanderer of hidden places,
Like the ones in search of their reach.
My theme of poetry is survival,
Like the travellers of peak range.
I show none serene looks, inside lies fire,
Like a thirsty dog trying defeating death.
Yet my beginnings aren’t scrubbed,
Perhaps are delayed, indeed not denied.

When your Soul is in Solitude; and you lost your Love without Lust

When your Soul is in Solitude; and you lost your Love without Lust

When your Soul is in Solitude; and you lost your Love without Lust by Aniket Kumar Das a.k.a Starrus Xanthis

Back in my childhood days;
Rhythmic sways, I lost my ways;
I remember those phase;
Though I was free yet it felt like a cage;
I want my rage to burst out, take a selfie with a rust pout;
Want to shout, want to be an opportunist;
Life seems like a zombie apocalypse;
Maybe stay in dim, looking grim, but I was capable to win, my birth is not a sin;
That’s why, Earth take in and I get in;
You’re no one to decide, to choose my ride;
I can guide myself for miles, speed dials me;
I remember back, got beaten in a sack;
Got a blind spot in my eye;
I need an ice pack, still I can’t fill this lack;
High stakes, eyes wide awake, wise takes;
I need support for God sakes;

I took a tough course, was in turf wars, wasn’t dead source, I was a race horse;
Solitude roads, I’ve to roar;
These are not SARS, I got some lone-wolf scars;
I wrote the last note before dying;
This is my Soul, you’re reading, I’m underlying;
That suppression, oppression, depression;
Compel me to shut down the operation;
“No, no, that’s not an operation that’s my…”
Yes, I felt shy, now I don’t want to deny;
Body dies, but Love can never die;
Even God said, “Oh my my”;
Ain’t ever got any chance, to romance, to dance or even enhance;
Immense thoughts floored in my mind, flowed to my heart, showed up in my eyes;
But it never came out, of my mouth;

Maybe I was not so prosperous;
My heart was canny and courageous;
I got a scratch on that, I need a stitch;
Not the needle, I had to be rich;
In brief, it was a grief, living dead on the street;
Treated like a prick, situation was bleak;
Attacks got a streak, attached to my reach;
I use to be a coward crying ‘mayday’;
Strive towards dying ‘heyday’;
With my fate, got to laid with, I can’t switch, played with out of which, I died weeping like a witch, keeping high my pitch, cursing as if I was ditched;
That’s so me, can’t you see, so mean, I can see, still racing away like a freak;
Got no fear son, ain’t had a dear one, like an ugly cycle and gear none, Father don’t send me rear, I don’t want to live here, Nun;

This ‘bliss’, is just a word in dictionary;
Supernumerary were the misery, I wasn’t free, causing bleed, want to pause this scene, demons are licking that red cream;
Of course, it was worse, seems like a surge, hatred was purge, I want to grudge, but the evils got merged;
I want everybody to know;
What happened since the go;
I am not the last in the row, many more to come, due to lass betrayal, kicking with the drum, got that so-called glow;
I’m now a Soul, want to be a Ghoul;
It’s not my goal, ain’t want to be ignored, like a stomach growl;
Since start speeding solo, don’t want a duo, alive actually like a rolling stone, you can’t reach me, ’cause I’m gone;
I can’t remember more tears aflow;
Yes, I was dead 4 years ago;

What do you See #87- 21 June,2021

Beyond the stroller
a beautiful woman walks
watching the baby

She likes wall painting,
stopped, read ” best gift is you”,
scribbled on the wall.

She looks into her baby
For her, best gift is her only
Daughter: life revolves.

Poetic form : Haiku series. It is a 3 line stanza each having 5/7/5 syllabus count.
Edited by Me 🙂

Written for Sajde’s “What do you See Challenge (#WDYS) .

5 Easy Ways to write a poem for Beginners

If you are searching for how to write a poem/ good poem for beginners then this article will surely help you. Here, you’ll learn 5 easy ways to write a poem for beginners.

Here, you'll learn 5 easy ways to write a poem for beginners.
  1. Express your thoughts: Pen down your feelings whatever it may be anger, love, furious, depression, regretful. Just pen it down in your flow on your diary or mobile notepad. Observe people and nature around you to amplify your inspiration.

  REMEMBER Poetry is a sign of creative and imaginative mind. Writing a poem is not about faking the emotions, it’s about the absorbing the emotions.

2. Read aloud: Once you write down your feelings on paper, now you have to read them again and again. You will get to know your mistakes by yourself, edit them such as grammatical mistakes, tenses and add more significant words which lead to our next point.

If you can add similes, alliteration, or rhymes that’s good for beginner’s level. But a poem can be written in free verse too, where there are no rules, rhyme schemes as compared to the challenging poetic forms.

3. Use of tools: For adding more significant words, you can search its synonyms at thesaurus or Google dictionary. Rhyming websites such as rhymingzone.com and rhymer.com can be very useful. I use these tools too.

There are numerous sites for haiku checker too- you can count your poems syllable if you experience difficulty in counting. I will share how to write “Haiku” and what I faced difficulty while writing haiku later on. If you want to know, comment and tell me on comment box. Try don’t to overuse the usage of rhyming words, sometimes it spoils the beauty of your poem. So, keep it simple and plain.

4. Connect with other poets: Once you scribble down your thoughts onto paper. It’s time to read other poets and writers. There are different platforms for the community of poets such as – tumblr.com, medium.com, Miraquill(formerly Mirakee), WordPress, Google Plus, Wattpad, Instagram. I read and connect with other poets/ writers at WordPress, Mirakee, and Instagram.

On instagram there are several popular poetry pages I follow such as ‘Her Heart Poetry’, ‘By Me Poetry’, ‘Poetry Foundation’, ‘Omypoetry’, ‘Unerase Poetry’.

WordPress helps me to connect with more like-minded people. Besides, Mirakee and other platforms are also best at their own.

5. Prompt Writing: After scribbling, connecting with people. It’s time for “Prompt Writing”. Prompt writing helps you to express your thoughts, imagination in more creative ways. Prompt can be anything it may be a few words, sentences, or images. It helps you to keep track of your writing path.

I know some writers who post prompts, weekly,daily on instagram and WordPress.

Some of them I follow on Instagram- Vaani by Shivani, Arshiya ki Shore, Nudrat, Anonymousxonly By Saakshi Agrawal, OlwenDaisy , Writersday.

WordPress- Some of you have already been familiar to the various prompts started by the Blogger in WordPress. Few of them are:

  1. What Do you See Challenge by Sajde
  2. Saturday Six Word Story Prompt by Shweta Suresh
  3. Eugi’s Prompt by Eugenia
  4. One liner Wednesday by Linda Hill
  5. Stream of Consciousness Saturday by Linda Hill
  6. Three Lines Tales by Sonya
  7. Fandango Flash Fiction Challenge by Fandango
  8. Crimson Creative Challenge by Crispina Kemp
  9. Photo Challenge by Nekreenaj
  10. Reena’s Xploration Challenge by Reena.

 I know these are only few, if you are hosting prompt/s share your prompts challenge here in the comment box. Other bloggers will happy to join in your challenge too.

The Cafe- First Line Friday: June 18, 2021

Jim and his wife Eva have three sons and one daughter. All children are married and lived separately from their respective families. Jim lends his own house as collateral to one of his sons- Veer to help him in his business. But unfortunately, his business went down and, lost all his money.

First line friday, short fiction, bhagban, amitabh bacchan.

Now, Jim and Eva have no place to live. They hesitate to ask their children because of their arrogant behaviour. Finally, they summon up and asked to them. At last, it was decided that Jim and Era will stay bi-annually with their respective children. But the condition is Eva and Jim have to separately live with their children at different places across the country.

They treated them like some trash living at their house. After years of suffering from their children ill- behaviour, they decided to run away from their children’s home and meet at the common junction with all their luggage carry on.

They’re now staying at Jim’s friend Rayne owner of Cafe cum guest house. Jim loved to write on his typewriter. While sitting alone in the cafe, he spends all his day peacefully. He now spends more time in the cafe. He feels warm and homely at the cafe. Also, Rayne with his wife Samayra helps him a lot while with his griefs.

For Jim, “the cafe began to feel like his only real home”.

Dylan Hughes is the host of First Line Friday. This week’s prompt alternates with Jim’s Music Prompts, so make sure to check back next Friday for some musical inspiration. Thank you Dylan for hosting such a inspiration prompt challenge.

Line of the week : The cafe began to feel like her only real home.
