#WDYS 9 | Embrace the beauty that lies within yourself 🌈🌻

This post was written in response to Sajde’s What do you see #47

( For the visually challenged readers, the image shows an incomplete watercolor on open pages of a notebook. There are tubes of colors next to it and some painting paraphernalia )

You don't need any paraphernalia,
to describe who you are.
You don't have to be beautiful, and eye glancing to appreciate the savor of inner beauty.
I have known you for years,
You still have that soft,
light hearted heart, layered
somewhere between  your subtle smiles.
You don't need to be colorful,
Just to show others.
I embrace you,
with these dreary, deficient colors.
You don't need to get colorful,
these colors defined perfectly 'Who you are'.
You don't have to mask yourself,
with these artificial colours,
You looked stunning in this outlook only.
I can sight the whole galaxy,
In those of yours half - partial image,
That you think it's partial, but it is not dear!
It's more than, than what you think so
You can't see your inner beauty,
that resides within.
You don't need any of these paraphernalia,
To change yourself.
Just embrace the glorious mess that you are.

Hide & Seek

Until a while ago,
Everything was great.
Playing Hide & Seek,
With my friends,
Teasing and mimicring them,
Making fun of them,
As they were not able to find me.

All of a sudden,
I don't know how,
I was stuck in between those branches,
The tree far away from my home.
With my forlornly face,
I was screaming for help,
But, something has stuck in my larynx
I was not able to yell,
I was yelling my friend simultaneously,
To come and help me, but failed to reached out to him.

I was looking here and there,
Waving my hands in air,
For someone to help,
And get out of this err.

I was wet and drenched,
I opened my eyes, and looked around,
I was dreaming,
And laugh heartily for a while.

What If

An imperfect perfectly Friendship

What if,
If I actually decided to forget you.
What if, I forgot you.

What if,
If I decided to parted off for forever.
What if, I parted off.

What if,
If I neglected all the promises we have made.
What if, I overlooked them completely.

What if,
If I ignored the voices of the words,
the poems which I have written for you.
What if, those words don't haunted me.

What if,
If I didn't listen to my innerself,
Ignoring the rays of hope coming within myself.
What if, I totally dumped that hope.

What if,
If the "Alag Aasmaan" don't push me to apologise for my fault.
And not signifies the beauty of friendship.
What if, I didn't listened to that song.

What if,
If you never forgive me for my words.
What if, you forgot me in all these process.

What if,
If we will never meet in future.
What if, we had not met each other in life.

PS : I think this poem is better being half written. Idk, but it looks not completely to me but on other hand it is imperfectly perfect !

PPS : ‘Alag Aasmaan’ is the fifth single’s song by Anuj Jain. And all his songs are my all time favourite music :))

I wish,
I could reside in my dreams forever,
I could glimpse something I have never had.
I could walk on those streets I have never been.
I could fly on those alluring cerulean clouds.

I wish,
I could have magic wand,
Fullfills all my wishes, and
Never let others alone and helpless.

I wish,
I could rewind the time,
Gather all the ashes of unpleasant memories,
And hem them with heavenly memories.

I wish,
I could reside in my dreams, forever and ever, undyingly.

Endemic Nature

That mumbling of leaves,
Hiding behind thin breeze.

That waving of flowers,
Merry go round around the leaves.

That whispering of grass,
Trying to buzz in front of bees.

That nimbleness of frisky gray,
Playing with the grits of soil.

How exuberant is this moment !
With one wave of breeze,
Everything appeared to be a magic,
Which Soothes the  pain,
Enriches  it with blossoms,and
Blooming it into the world of dreams.

The word endemic means, it is found in only particular areas. I have named the titles endemic nature because in this hectic life, everyone used to  avoid the beauty of nature. Only the person who used to see that beauty apart from their day to day life is being endemic to them.
